Can you believe it’s back to school week already? I’ve always loved the fresh start-feel of September, particularly the many trips to buy brand new stationery. Even now I’m way past my school day, I’m still a sucker for notepads and pens. I thought today would be a good day to put together a little round up of some of my favourite pretty stationery finds and resources to brighten up your desk, whether you’re heading back to school, uni or just looking to brighten up your office!

Click to find out where you can buy all of these, and to see a list of my favourite places to buy stationery both on the high street and online…

Enterprising Britain A6 Organiser – £3.50, Wilkos

This is such a cute little organiser. It even has little sections with mood trackers, meal planning pages and task lists. Really useful, very Instagrammable and such a bargain!

Pilot Frixion Erasable Pastel Highlighters – £6.37, Amazon (with Prime)

I have these and I love them. I’m a total perfectionist and I really like that I can erase these if I make a mistake. The pastel colours are very soft and pretty, and they make a nice change from the neon bright highlighters you usually get.

Cute Post Its – £1.28, eBay

I have ordered so many packs of sweet little sticky notes that I’ve lost count. I’ve always found them to be great quality, and I get lots of compliments on them when I have them stuck around my desk at work. The one thing I will say is that they can be less sticky than branded Post Its but they definitely still do the job.

3 Piece Storage Box Set – £3.99, B&M

Such a bargain! These cute little boxes would look great on a desk for storing paper and other bits and bobs.

Little erasers – £1 each, Paperchase

I actually don’t think Paperchase is that great or stationery, especially not when you put it up against the likes of Amazon and eBay. But I do love these tiny erasers. I probably wouldn’t even use them, but how cute?!

Where are the best places to shop for stationery?

eBay

My absolute favourite place to buy cute pens and pencils.  And if you’re willing to wait a few weeks, you can get some absolutely brilliant bargains from eBay. My favourite buys are post-it notes, washi tapes and planner stickers, but you can get just about anything with a quick eBay search!

Amazon

Deciding to get Amazon Prime has been both a blessing and a curse when it comes to my pen-buying addiction. Like eBay, Amazon has just about everything you could wish for. But add in free next day delivery and it is absolute magic. I love being able to order new bits and test them out the very next day. My most recent purchase was this brilliant set of PaperMate Flair pens for my bullet journal. I would definitely recommend them!

Wilkos

As you can see from the planner above, Wilkos have some really pretty bits in their stationery aisle. They do some great little jars of rose gold paper clips, binder clips and push pins and they have some lovely themed ranges too. They also have some great deals on Paper Mate pens right now, and I’ve never tried a bad one!

B&M

B&M wasn’t even on my radar for stationery until recently, when I was looking for cheap glitter glue for my Girlguiding unit. They have such a good range of low-budget stationery and crafty bits. They have especially good prices on Sharpie and Crayola pens, which are both great for bullet journaling and modern calligraphy.

Tesco

My local Tesco has the best stationery aisle. I cannot walk down it without picking up pens or a cute little notepad. I’m fairly sure this is why we don’t do our food shop at Tesco anymore…

Sainsbury’s

Sadly not available online, but well worth a trip to your local store. Sainsbury’s do a great range of on-trend stationery for great prices. They’re a little more expensive than Tesco or Asda, but my word their range is beautiful. Think pastel colours, rose gold and glitter and you’ll get the picture. The paper in their notebooks is always great quality, and they have a lovely range of desk planner pads which you don’t often see in UK supermarkets.

HomeSense and TK Maxx

Again, offline only. These two are a little pricier than the places I’ve listed above but they have some really pretty and unique bits in stock.  Lots of Pinterest-pretty marble and rose gold items and Always check the red-sticker clearance areas, too – I’ve had some great finds in the past!

Hopefully, you’ve enjoyed this little slice of back to school inspiration! I definitely enjoyed putting it together. If you have any favourites that I haven’t mentioned, please let me know in the comments! I can never have enough places to shop for these things!
